Welcome on my personal website
My name is Jakub Tłuczek and I'm about to start my PhD journey at University of Neuchatel. Originally from Zamość, a small city in the eastern Poland, yet known for its unique architecture nationwide, and beyond.
I hold a BSc/inż. title obtained at Warsaw University of Technology, as well as MSc from Swiss Joint Master in Computer Science at universities of Bern, Neuchatel and Fribourg, specialized in Data Science.
My main research interests include, but are not limited to, predictive modelling, reinforcement learning and deep learning. What I find fascinating about data science in general, is how it can be applied to a plethora of real-life
cases, which in turn never gets boring.
My interests outside of academia include American sports, civil aviation, motorsport and linguistics. In my spare time I play sports which involve precision, namely darts and curling. When I'm tired of throwing things at the target I like to wind down during a hike or a bike ride.
